Pharrell Williams is exploring Japan – as the star of Palladium’s Fall/Winter 2011 campaign! The 38-year-old musician and producer is teaming up with the boots brand to “venture into the subterranean tunnels deep below” Tokyo, while also uncovering the city’s vibrant subcultures. “As a brand that explores urban environments, Tokyo has always been on our list” explained Barney Waters, Palladium’s VP of Marketing. “We’re excited to partner with Pharrell as he is the logical choice to lead this Exploration. He is connected to Japanese culture and will bring a credible perspective to what’s going on there.” Pharrell’s trek to Tokyo will be captured in a short film along with a gallery of images shot by photographer Peter Sutherland.
