By Sowmya Krishnamurthy. Kenna is a man of many hats. While fans know him as the singer with the mellifluous voice on songs like ‘Say Goodbye To Love’ and ‘Love Is Still Alive,’ he’s also a techie and humanitarian. “I’m a co-creator. The universe helps me do what I do,” the Ethiopian-born entertainer tells The Boombox while sitting down to answer questions in our ‘Go Fishing’ series.

During the conversation, the multihyphenate addressed his new gig at MySpace as Chief Vision Officer. “I want to help my peers and friends have a chance to be heard,” he says about his position to help others propagate their music in the industry. He also shares insight into his humanitarian efforts with global water as founder of Summit on the Summit’s clean water initiative, the album he’d listen to if stuck on an island and more.

The very busy Kenna can look back on 2013 and pat himself on the back, considering he released three projects: ‘Land 2 Air Chronicles II: Imitation Is Suicide Chapter 1,’ ‘Land 2 Air Chronicles II: Imitation Is Suicide Chapter 2′ and ‘Land 2 Air Chronicles II: Imitation Is Suicide Chapter 3.’ Recently, he joined forces with Childish Gambino for their smooth track ‘Relations.’
