Pharrell gave a Swedish feminist party a shout-out during a performance in Stockholm a day before Sweden’s general election. At the end of his show Saturday, Pharrrell invited on stage Gudrun Schyman, the leader of a small party that’s campaigning on women’s rights. An online video clip showed Pharrell and the 66-year-old Schyman dancing hand in hand as he performed “Happy.”

Schyman left the ex-communist Left Party in 2003 to found Feminist Initiative. The party won a seat in the European Parliament earlier this year and polls suggest it could get the 4 percent support that’s needed in Sunday’s election to enter parliament. Feminists have criticized Pharrell for producing the song Blurred Lines, which they say promotes rape culture, but he has recently spoken out in favor of women’s rights.
