Ladies and Gentlemen,
I need to adress someything that I see happening way too often to be ignored and is killing musical inspiration. As you know, I am clear about my influences. I am happy to explain that I have been led to my sound by way of a million different sonics. I am thankful that sometimes my creations are considered original, but I know that I have gleaned them from many others, but there are people outhere so called artists. People who believe that they created things in a vacuum, convince the world that they have and never give credit where credit is due.There are artists out there who rock what has already been rocked as if they thought of it. There are artists out there that bang beats that have already been banged. There are artists out there who sing passionately about nonsensical subjects as if they have always sung. Steal looks those artists are called Posers & Thieves. Can you pick out the Posers & Thieves? No offence. I’m not patting myself on the back. I’m saying give credit where credit is due. The beatles cited The Beach Boys pet sounds as their influences for Sgt. Pepper. The Beatles had Class. Respect your peers. Allow for growth around you, even better, lift someone else up and help them achieve without selfinterrest. Ypu’relooking for inspiration? You can’t find it on the planet… It might be because you use it up andnever replenish it. It is a natural resource and they are killing it,those Posers & Thieves.
