He crosses all genres of music. And he produces music with REAL instruments and actual sheet music, not some producing software or machine. If it wasn't for Quincy working with Michael so many of our great producers of today would've pursued other careers. He's the spark that lit the fire. He is survival of the fittest. The producers that rely on modern production wouldn't have survived 40 years ago while Quincy been there done that and is still doing it. If he wasn't feeling the Neptune songs and turned them down, that doesn't mean his made the biggest mistake of his career. The man sold over 100 million records with Thriller alone and no one has topped that since. Michael Jackson had nothing to prove by doing a song with the Neptunes.
