Whats better than to get a new Neptunes Track on your birthday (29 Years Old)! Here is finally some music from the mysterious California based and recently newest Star Trak signee Buddy. While Pharrell and Pusha T. (will star alongside Bryan Greenberg and Kid Cudi for four episodes ‘playing a drug dealer’) have cameos on the new Season of How To Make It In America,
there is a new Mixtape by HBO titled How To Make It In America: The Mixtape Vol. 2 (2011) hosted by Broke Mogul & Mick Boogie with appearences by Kid Cudi, Little Dragon among others (Download it below) and Buddy with his debut single titled ‘Awesome Awesome’ ofcourse it is produced by The Neptunes.
What can we say about this southern style beat, this definitely is a banger and follows the mainstream Hip Hop/Rap music we’ve got nowadays with them Gucci Mayne’s and Wacka Flocka’s and I wouldn’t be suprised to see some collaborations with them in the near future. We know forsure that Buddy has probably worked with Snoop Dogg and Kendrick Lamar probably for his debut album (yeah, I’m already talking about the album “Staaar Traaak \\// ”) judging to the studio pictures we’ve seen recently and there has also been a video shot with Buddy which i’m pretty sure it’s for ‘Awesome Awesome’.
