Kenna is finally releasing his installment of the Land 2 Air Chronicles with the first part called Chaos & The Darkness and with a preview which sounds like the tune we’ve heard from Kenna on January 3rd with Chad Hugo & Lupe Fiasco in the studio, this could also be the first single called Chains that Kenna already shot the video for it, we’ll see. Kenna also revealed that Land 2 Air Chronicles is an 3 EP Series. 3 Songs per. 3 Times this year and then we will get Songs For Flight.
The weekend that music lovers (and groupies) have been waiting for has finally arrived. N*E*R*D (commonly known as Pharrell Williams’ band) is playing tonight and U2 will be rocking tommorrow. It seems that every genre and generation is catered for. We scored an invite to a an exclusive press confrence at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Sandton where a jet lagged Pharrell Williams and Shay Haley tried their best to answer questions. Topics ranged from what legacy N*E*R*D wanted to leave behind, how they make their music; to Pharrell’s style and beauty tips. The forever young looking (38 year old), Pharrell greeted by saying “Good morning” even though it was already 2pm. He also struggled to answer some questions “I can’t answer that” was his response to a journalist who asked a lengthy 5 part question.

Pharrell Williams teams up with Domeau & Pérès (who produced his first design work, the “Perspective Chairs”) and Brooklyn Machine Works for an exclusive bicycle. Made out of 4130 chromemoly seamless airplane grade steel tubing, the bike was upholstered in hand-stitched water buffalo leather (which takes over 100 man hours to complete.) The bike will be produced in a limited edition of 12, with each bike coming in a unique color – the purchaser of each bike will be the only one who owns that color. The Gagosian Store is offering them for €20,000.00. Get yours today. More Images after the jump, thanks to MartianSky.
There you have it, according to Oh Land hereself via twitter, her first single ‘We Turn It Up’ is not produced by Pharrell but by Dave McCracken, since Oh Land worked with Pharrell for her selftitled album, I immediately thought this is produced by Pharrell because the source where I’ve got the tune from states it’s Pharrell flavoured, which I thought the blogger meant to say its produced by Pharrell, sorry for the inconvenience y’all, I feel terrible now *runs away*.
Bad News right there. Although Activision has been portrayed as a heartless slasher of jobs and destroyer of livelihoods, sometimes even by yours truly, there are apparently instances where these decisions are indeed fueled by quality considerations. I’ll even put my strong dislike for the company aside that it’s probably what fueled most of them. What I don’t understand is why dismantle a whole studio for what are ostensibly management failures?
“Even our most optimistic internal projections show that continued investment was not going to lead to a title at, or near, the top of the competitive open world genre,” , the very same Publishing CEO Eric Hirshberg who nixed hopes of a 2011 Activision Bungie debut said. “In an industry where only the best games in each category are flourishing, to be blunt, it just wasn’t going to be good enough.” Well, at one point Activision thought the franchise and studio were worth having and though the consequences of this decision for developers United Front aren’t quite clear, I’m hoping that hasn’t changed. Rhea was supposed to have the tune My Motorcycle on the OST with her new group Jealous LoveR but we’ll have to wait for the studio version somewhere else *sad face*.

‘Every time I told the story, everyone was totally amazed,’ he tells Mixtape Daily. Clipse’s Gene “Malice” Thornton might not be a rookie, but the MC — who has blessed us with a bevy of healthy verses over Neptunes production throughout the years — is a first-time author, readying the release of his book “Wretched, Pitiful, Poor, Blind, and Naked.” Admittedly, a literary career wasn’t in the plans for the former armed forces member. But after a tumultuous period in his life that Malice said began in 2008 (he didn’t elaborate on the incidents; a year later, in 2009, longtime Clipse manager Anthony “Geezy” Gonzalez was charged with leading a multimillion-dollar drug ring), he had a story that he would repeat often, and the idea for a book arose.
David Guetta tweeted late last night that he was in the studio with Chad Hugo. The producers may be in a collaborative effort with Akon and Ludacris who were also present and accounted for in the tweet since David Guetta is working on his fifth studio album which is due this year.
Its about time Chester Frech is about to release their 2nd studio album still untitled yet later this year and D.A. Wallach just revelaed on his twitter that “Last thing I must tell you is that the new CF album sounds almost nothing like the last one and Jacques Jams”. I can’t wait to hear the new album.
Why You Should Follow Him
Knowing that he’s not famous for people to care about his Twitter just because it’s his Twitter, indie rocker Wallach wisely ups the entertainment level with jokes about being a crack dealer and Tweets at Amber Rose.
“This block is so hot that hawaiian tourists are taking helicopter tours overhead because they think it’s a volcano!!!!!!!!!”
“He’s been around for years but Cory Gunz is absolute virtuoso. I’ve always been blown away by him.”
Fam-Lay sat down with Illusivemedia to talk about his upcoming projects which he revealed that he’s working on a new mixtape and an album after being in the road with N*E*R*D for 3 years. He also explained the meaning of his latest single ‘Youinstantly’ after he previewed a new track called ‘What’s My Name’ which is produced by our Forum Member Nana Rouges, congratulations Nana Rouges, keep up the great work!
Sharing mic time with Young Money‘s three-headed monster, Lil’ Wayne, Drake and Nicki Minaj, has helped the diminutive MC sharpen his skills. So it should come as no surprise that “Really Raw,” the first single off Tyga’s upcoming Summer release, “Careless World,” finds the MC standing his ground alongside West Coast juggernauts Game, Snoop Dogg and super producers The Neptunes with Pharrell. The Neptunes-produced single was initially slated to drop next week, but an unmixed version leaked onto the internet yesterday, Feb. 03.
Tyga, explained how the star-studded collaboration took place. “Pharrell, he got good chemistry, and we had the vibe as soon as we started working, so we worked for about a week, two weeks. And “I always been a fan of [Pharrell] musically so I always knew what kind of music I wanted to make with him,” Tyga told BET.com. “Snoop just walked in the studio while we was recording and he was like, ‘Yo, I wanna get on this.’ He did a verse. And then the next day, Game came in the studio and he was like, ‘Yo, Snoop called me. He said I gotta hear this record that he gave to you and all that. He came to the studio, then he put a verse on it, and it was done.”

From Alyssa: “Here’s a song i wrote that I think many can relate to! Kudos to Richard Tran for helping co-write this tune.”
Alyssa Bernal – Let Me Know (Original)
After a day full of school classes and cheer practice, Alyssa Bernal would go home and upload videos of herself singing acoustic song covers to YouTube, eventually to be discovered by multi-talented hip hop artist, Pharrell Williams. Haven’t we heard this story enough from multiple different performers in the industry? Journey’s new front man, Arnel Pineda, Charice and Justin Bieber were all discovered in the same situation. But whether it was over MySpace or YouTube, Bernal is deserving of whatever fame she gets. If you’re searching for music with mediocre singing drowned out by a catchy dance beat, Bernal is not for you. An unexpected maturity and innocence is shown in her music which seems to be lacking in what we hear on the radio. Her voice is similar to Demi Lovato’s but her music follows the style of Colbie Caillat. Bernal was raised in San Antonio, TX with a drummer for a father, so music was in her blood.
This tune was recorded around 2004 but only saw the light of day throughout mixtapes and 4 years later he was arrested for double murder. Before the arresting he was talking about doing more DJ Premier joints for his debut album. Here is finally the No DJ/CDQ version thanks to DJ Premier http://www.djpremierblog.com/. I doubt we’ll ever see another collabo.

Noreaga talked about his new album S.U.P.E.R.T.H.U.G. and expressed his love for A Tribe Called Quest while being the first time in Sweden. He revealed that The Neptunes have Six Neptunes Tracks on his new album S.U.P.E.R.T.H.U.G., would be too good if that’s true.
