On 106 & Park Madonna spoke about working on her new album with The Neptunes. She said “it was me Pharrell & Chad” which will surely put an end to speculation over whether or not Mr. Hugo worked on Hard Candy. She spoke of the fun she had working with Pharrell, calling him “ingenius” and recalling how one day he started using glasses and the back of her guitar as a drum for the record “Candy Shop” (if you listen you can here the guitar strings vibrating with the beat). She said she was annoyed by Pharrell leaving for breaks and playing on his blackberry while they were supposed to be working. Madonna also confirmed that the video is finished for her 2nd single “Give It 2 Me” feat. Pharrell (I think u can actually see a sneakpeek of the “Give It To Me” video featuring Pharrell on the screen of the Roseland Performance “scroll down”) and a cameo from his manbag. “i love his purple hermes bag, it’s like an extention of himself”. She also talked about the ring she’s wearing on the cover that says “M-Dolla” as her new Pharrell given nickname.
