Ashanti said during her June 2 appearance on 106 & Park that she recorded 52 tracks for the album, of which only 13 were used but none of the The Neptunes tracks made the final cut on Ashanti’s fourth album “The Declaration” released on June 3, 2008. MTV.com apparently said that the Thicke collabo is produced by The Neptunes which is obviously a mistake (it’s produced by Channel 7).
