Charles Hamilton is not your typical rapper. For starters, the Cleveland-born MC loves the color pink, his favorite video game character is Sonic The Hedgehog, he blogs daily, and his third cousin is MC Lyte. The 20-year-old is already a fixture on the Internet with a series of mixtapes including his self-produced Outside Looking hosted by DJ Green Lantern. Interscope Records’ newest signee produces and writes his own music and plays multiple instruments. A popular YouTube video shows him freestyling alongside Kanye West and The Game at the Record Plant in Hollywood. With a debut album scheduled for release in early 2009 and superstar fans including Eminem and Pharrell, Charles Hamilton is poised to become the next big thing.
