Design Miami is one of the leading global forums of design and has been the sister fair to Art Basel for numerous years. Veuve Clicquot showcased designer Mathieu Lehanneur’s unique bed. Unlike any other bed, this curtained lair led guests to their very own personal getaway experience stimulated by their unique mood; that the bed senses from a person’s body temperature. Guests enjoyed the decadent champagne while taking their own few moments to experience the different colors and sounds of Mathieu’s magnificent creation.
The tent also featured Swarovski’s Crystal Palace which collaborated with Troika featuring an exhibit entitled Falling Light. This exhibit revealed an extremely intricate LED light lens inspired piece. Also highly featured in the Design Miami tent, was a section dedicated to the publishing company Assouline. Assouline presented a plethora of illustrated books on design, architecture, travel, art, and lifestyle. The Design Miami team went all out in their tent and displayed some of our generation’s most innovative art and design perspectives.
