We ain’t Frontin‘- hip hop icon Pharrell and queen of pop Madonna will be joining this year’s Smirnoff Nightlife Exchange Project. With both artists having independent involvement, their attachment to the Project sees a veritable boost, combined with the news that this year’s instalment will see fifty countries involved rather than last year’s fourteen. Pharrell is LA’s master collaborator, and the worldwide Master of Cool. Having previously worked with stars such as Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake, Usher and Gwen Stefani, the N*E*R*D/Neptunes member is also the front of his own clothing label, Billionaire Boys’ Club- which will see him collaborating with King of Hip Hop Jay-Z (no matter what Rolling Stones says) for a line later this year.

Pharrell features in a new advertising campaign for Smirnoff, taking the viewer through how he creates his mixes right from a ‘blank canvas’- keeping with Smirnoff’s current creative theme. Of course, the real news is pop legend Madonna‘s direct involvement in the Project. Madonna will be in attendance at one of the Project experiences this November, in a search for the best dancer to join her next tour. “What attracted me to the Smirnoff Nightlife Exchange Project is the combination of participating in celebration of nightlife around the world and the opportunity to discover the world’s best dancers,” Madonna said. “The best dancers are always in the clubs looking for the most original experience, just like Smirnoff is doing.”
