Terrence Thornton better known as Pusha T describes how he developed a passion for hip-hop “at an early age, mimicking my brothers.” He then went on to talk about his new album: “I took the eras of 1994 to 1999 and created an album that [was] sonically reminiscent of that era in terms of energy. My music is roll down every window in your car and ride past the club four times before you get out music”.

When talking about one of the producers on his album, Pharrell Williams, Pusha reveals how their relationship works: “We understand each other, it’s a little give and take. We’re not on the same level and in the same space creatively, but I think we balance each other out well and it makes for very dynamic records”.
