Rob Dyrdek, Pharrell Williams, Game & Yelawolf
Remember back in April 2010 when Yelawolf talked about going in the studio with The Neptunes and that he may go on Tour with N*E*R*D that summer, well Yelawolf actually was planned to be featured on N*E*R*D’s scrapped Instant Gratification album but it looks like we might get to hear that collaboration they did back then. Fast-rising rapper Yelawolf has announced that he will release his upcoming full-length studio album, Radioactive, on October 25th, 2011, via Ghet-O-Vision/Shady Records/DGC/Interscope. Radioactive is the Alabama-born rapper’s first album after the partnering of Ghet-O-Vision Entertainment and the Eminem-led Shady Records.
The album, which finds Yelawolf working with such producers as SupaHotBeats, Justice League, The Audibles, Diplo, Eminem, Lil Jon and Gangsta Boo with production from Andre 3000, Chuck Inglish and TheNeptunes’ N*E*R*D on the track ‘Write Your Name’, follows Yelawolf’s critically acclaimed Trunk Muzik 0-60 (Ghet-O-Vision/DGC/Interscope) — a 2010 compilation of tracks from his Trunk Muzik Mixtape along with previously unavailable recordings. “We are very eager for the world to hear Radioactive and proud to be presenting the album on Shady Records,” said Eminem. “Yelawolf is a true original and he has crafted an incredible record.”
