I’ve posted a while back about a possible new I Am Other Artist signee called Lydia Paek. So yesterday, Pharrell took his twitter to tell us that Buddy, Cris Cab, Alyssa Bernal, Leah Labelle and Lydia Paek are next. It’s safe to say that she jonied the team. Here is a little bit about Lydia Paek I could find out. You might recognize Lydia as the only girl in the super talented Quest Dance Crew from Los Angeles, California who were declared winners of the third season of America’s Best Dance Crew. But Lydia isn’t only a dancer, she’s a great singer with an amazing, distinct voice. Lydia is of Korean descent and began dancing at an early age, becoming one of the few recognized Asian female dancers on the scene right now. Check some of her Youtube videos below.
“I am an independent type of person – one to strive for things. I want to accomplish so much in life and share it with people I love. I have been dancing for about 4 years, since I was 15 years old. A matter of fact, I was more of a dancer than a singer first. I really started getting into singing when I was in high school. I wish I had vocal lessons but never had the money to do so. I have achieved so much in life already and continue to do so. All I have to say is that, if you enjoy something – strive for it. Nothing is impossible. Just do it.
