This past Sunday (June. 2), ATL’s 2 Chainz debuted his new single during HOT97’s annual Summer Jam concert. As the historic hip-hop station celebrated it’s 20th consecutive year of the all-star event, the guest feature king hit fans with the Pharrell-produced “Feds Watching.” Skateboard P also assists with the song’s hook and ad-libs. During an exclusive interview with VIBE.com, Pharrell explained how the song was created right after the 2013 Grammy Awards. “I basically just absorbed the vibe,” Pharrell explains. “I saw what was happening, and the kind of pace and tempo that was in the room, and that told me what I needed to make for him.
