The Long Beach rapper’s upcoming EP will have a visual component directed by Nabil Eldurkin. After announcing his Prima Donna EP earlier this week, Vince Staples has shared links on his website to two “private screening” events in Los Angeles and New York City on his personal website. It seems as though the Long Beach rapper will be throwing his hat into the ring with Beyoncé, ScHoolboy Q, and, most recently, Frank Ocean, who have released extensive visual projects to accompany their albums.
A flyer for the events reads, “story by Vince Staples and Nabil Elderkin,” Nabil is a Los Angeles director who is well-known for his work with Kanye West and Frank Ocean among others. The flyer also lists musical contributions from James Blake, DJ Dahi, No I.D., and Chad Hugo. Apply to win tickets to Vince Staples’ Prima Donna EP private screenings here.
