Chris Cornell appears with his children Toni and Christopher in a new PSA for the anti-genocide campaign The Promise. The two-minute clip premiered on Variety and it features Cornell’s song “The Promise,” which was written and recorded for the film of the same name that tackles the Armenian Genocide.
Cornell appears posthumously in the video, vowing to keep the promise on behalf of the world’s most vulnerable children. Other stars also make pledges to keep the promise in Cornell’s honor in the moving trailer, including Josh Brolin, Oscar Isaac, Christian Bale, Elton John, Snoop Dogg, John Carter Cash, Laila Ali, Barbra Streisand, Russell Wilson and Ciara, Tom Morello, Tom Hanks, Serj Tankian, George Clooney, Hugh Jackman, Don Cheadle, Jennifer Lopez, Ozzy Osbourne, Jimmy Fallon, Ryan Gosling, Adam Levine, Charlie Puth, Courtney Cox, Heidi Klum, Matt Cameron and Pharrell Williams, among many others.
