A$AP Rocky just released his new single “RIOT (Rowdy Pipe’n),” produced by Pharrell. We got a taste of this tune before in a Live Version, but now, after 7 months, we finally get to hear the official version! Initially, Tyler The Creator was supposed to be on the track too, but it seems like plans changed along the way. Check out the song on Apple Music below.
And that’s not all! A$AP Rocky also directed a cool campaign video for Beats Studio Pro, and guess what? Rihanna makes a cute appearance with her voice! The video, called “Iconic Sound,” is Rocky’s first time directing a brand commercial, and he nailed it! In the video, Rocky is in his home studio, playing around with his new single. But suddenly, his superstar partner Rihanna asks for his help – they ran out of diapers! Rocky is up for the task, so he puts on his stylish Timberland boots and his new Beats Studio Pro Headphones (worn over a white tee he cleverly tied around his braids) and goes on a diaper run adventure! If you’ve seen him running around New York in those Timbs before, now you know the reason behind it!
He goes all out, jumping over trash bins, sliding on top of cabs, and even causing a playful riot outside the AWGE Bodega, which is named after his creative agency. Inside, he grabs some AWGEY’s Diapers, featuring an adorable photo of his and Rihanna’s 1–year-old son RZA on the package. But, oops! Turns out he got the wrong size! Rihanna calls out from the other room, and he’s got to go back to the store. Check out the video below!
