Pusha T. has been Interviewed by The Breakfast Club where he revealed that The Neptunes track ‘Raid’ has already been finished before he got it for his mixtape, so it is safe to say that ‘Raid’ is a leftover off 50 Cent’s third studio album ‘Curtis’ from 2007 because that was the time The Neptunes have had studio sessions with Fifty. 50 Cent told VIBE that he has unreleased material that he recorded with Kanye West, Will.I.Am, Pharrell, Swizz Beatz and Polow Da Don that never saw the light of day. “I’ve gone in the studio with Kanye West, Will.I.Am, Pharrell, Swizz Beatz and Polow Da Don,” says 50 of some of the tracks he has worked on.
“I wanted to see if they could provide a new creative direction that would send me somewhere I would never go. We made some good music, but at the time the songs were not what I felt like I should present.” When asked why he was hesitant in the past to drop such left-field material, 50 explained, “I don’t think people were ready for that. I think my audience wanted to just hear a good record and have a good time.
They didn’t want to hear anything that was so complex that they had to think about what I was actually saying to them. I got records in the house that the fans would bug out on.” Pusha has also been Interviewed by DJ Whoo Kid where he talked about the difference working between Kanye West & Pharrell (04:10) And they also discussed The Neptunes track ‘Come N’ Get It feat. Clipse’ off Travis Barker’s Mixtape ‘Let The Drummer Get Wicked (2011)’ at (07:30), thanks to flipbundlez.
