Marigosa, Nick|Dork and me have decided to make a new Forum, so that you guys have a place to discuss the newest neptunes stuff until we’ve got a better one. Tell me what you think of the new solution. The new Forum is called Grindin.org so make sure to visit and bookmark it right now!
Updated: January 23rd
Whats up my felow Neptunes Fans, last week we’ve had some problems with the Forum because it was on a free hosting server and the database has been spamed so they had to close the Forum for a while, but this was not the first time they’ve closed the forum cause of the spamming, actually it’s the second time so they told us that they will close the Forum if thats gonna happen again and eventually that is what happened, the Forum is back but the sad news is that they deleted the whole database with all posts and accounts from the Forum. The good news is that we have to start from scratch and we have to create a new and better Forum, in the meanwhile until we’ll get a new Forum, you’ll be able to share and discuss the latest about The Neptunes on the Internet Relay Chat (mIRC) like in the old days where we only discussed and shared files on there with over 80 people daily.
Most of y’all know about The Neptunes Channel on IRC but i’m pretty sure there are some fellas that never heard of it, so i’ll try explain to you what IRC actually is. Like i said before, mIRC is an Internet Relay Chat (IRC) client for Microsoft Windows created in 1995 and it is a fully functional chat utility. mIRC has a number of distinguishing features, such as the file sharing abilities, via the DCC protocol, also featuring a built in File Server. Direct Client-to-Client (DCC) is an IRC-related sub-protocol enabling peers to interconnect using an IRC server for handshaking in order to exchange files or perform non-relayed chats.
Download mIRC With Invision Here, Install It, then just Add your Nick example (Chad), The Network (Rizon) & Channel (#theneptunes), then simply Connect, for further informations ask in the channel or here.
