SpyMob Releases New Album ‘Another Night’ After More Than 20 Years

SpyMob are officially returning with a new album this summer titled ‘Another Night’. The band, long known as the live backbone behind N.E.R.D. during the early Star Trak era, are finally releasing new material after more than two decades away from a full album cycle. The rollout is already set. The full album will be available for purchase on BandCamp on June 2nd. For streaming listeners, SpyMob will be dropping singles across the summer, on June 2nd, July 7th, and August 4th, before the full project arrives on streaming platforms on September 1st.

Alongside the announcement, the band also shared something from the vault: the long-lost music video for “Walking Under Green Leaves,” directed by Van and Casey Neistat (The Neistat Brothers) back in 2004. It was filmed and completed at the time, but never released. Now, more than 20 years later, it finally sees the light of day. Spymob say the video had been sitting in Eric’s basement all this time, untouched, until now.

Its release feels like a time capsule opening, right alongside the band themselves. After splitting in 2005 and spending years on different paths, the members are back together again, making music without forcing anything.. For fans of that early Star Trak world, this is more than just a comeback album. It’s a continuation of a story that never really got a proper closing chapter. Make sure to get ‘Another Night’ on BandCamp!
