T.I. sat down with Ebro in the morning to talk about his new EP and executive producing Watch The Duck album with Pharrell at 1:30.
T.I. has hit out at the decision to order Robin Thicke and Pharrell to pay $7.4 million to the family of Marvin Gaye for copyright infringement. T.I. says the recent court ruling against the hit song ‘Blurred Lines‘ was “shocking“. The 34-year-old rapper, who co-starred on the song alongside Robin Thicke and Pharrell Williams, has disputed the decision to order Thicke and Pharrell to pay $7.4 million to the family of Marvin Gaye for copyright infringement.
He said: “I found it shocking. I have an immense amount of admiration and respect for Marvin Gaye’s legacy. He is to me, I mean, immeasurable in his application of his efforts, energies and talents. “I think that even in post-demise, he still translates and is extremely relevant today. I have admiration for his estate, but even the greatest of us get it wrong sometimes. Even the greatest of us.
Pharrell Williams has been killin ’em once again. Exactly a year ago, Pharrell won 4 Grammy awards out of 5, and this time around, he managed to do the same once again. He won three possible Grammy Awards out of Four Nominations, thats pretty much amazing. He won the Grammy’s for ‘Best Music Video‘ and ‘Best Pop Solo Performance‘ with ‘Happy’, and he also won the ‘Best Urban Contemporary Album‘ for ‘G I R L‘, congrats from the whole Neptunes community Pharrell, keep killin’ ’em!

On October 21, T.I. returns. The King holds court with some of the biggest names in music on his ninth album Paperwork: The Motion Picture. Executive Produced by Pharrell Williams, the follow-up to 2012’s Trouble Man features Four Pharrell Tracks, but we probably gonna get more than that on the album. Other guests populating the 18–Track Deluxe Edition include Usher, Chris Brown, Jeezy, Boosie Badazz, The-Dream, and Rick Ross.
