Virginia super producer Pharrell Williams will be the feature guest at this year’s ASCAP ‘I Create Music’ Expo, taking place at the end of the month. The fifth annual ‘I Create Music’ Expo will feature panels, performances and technology demonstrations dedicated to songwriting and composing. The Neptunes front man will MC the Expo Master Session, which will also feature a panel with In Living Colour drummer Will Calhoun and Parliament Funkadelic founding member Bernie Worrell. Last year’s event featured panels and performances from soul great Bill Withers, music legend Quincy Jones, Justin Timberlake and pop producer Dr. Luke.
Other panelist scheduled to attend this year’s event include guitarist Trevor Rabin, YouTube sensation Tay Zonday and rock singer Jonatha Brooke. The event takes place at the Renaissance Hollywood Hotel in Los Angeles, April 28-30. ASCAP or American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers is a non-profit organization that protects the rights and monetary interests of its members, which includes thousands of popular singers and songwriters.
