Pharrell Takes Atlantic Surf Park For A Ride [Video]

Back in August, Atlantic Surf Park opened as the first Wavegarden Cove in the US, a major $350M project backed by one of the city’s most iconic sons. A post shared by Iconiq Capital founder Michael Landers shows Pharrell catching a wave at Atlantic Surf Park, marking the first public glimpse of him surfing. No spectacle, no hype rollout.

He rides regular-foot, pops up clean, and cruises comfortably on what looks like a mellow inside wave. Calm, controlled, effortless. Exactly how you would expect him to move. Pharrell wore a sleek wetsuit with Adidas’ signature three stripes, a subtle nod to one of his longest-running creative partnerships. Adidas has never really played in surfwear, but if Pharrell’s involved, don’t be surprised if that changes.
