In the latest episode of Mass Appeal’s popular Off Tha’ Wall interview series, Pusha T. was the next artist featured. On the heels of his then upcoming debut album My Name Is My Name, Pyrex P opened up about how Pharrell Williams gave him his rap name in the early Clipse days due to his hustling in the streets. While he wasn’t rapping at the time, Pharrell and his brother Malice being one his favorite emcees when they were teens.
Timbaland was Malice’s first producer back in the day, which Push spoke on how his brother initially didn’t want him joining studio sessions being the younger brother; but that would obviously change.
