The longtime children’s program returns to TV on Jan. 16. The countdown is on for Sesame Street’s return to television Jan. 16 at new home HBO. The premium cable network dropped a new trailer for the classic children’s series on Thursday, which features famous faces who have appeared on the program in the past, including Jon Hamm, Pharrell Williams, Tina Fey, Usher, Gwen Stefani and Tracee Ellis Ross. Pharrell, Fifth Harmony, Gwen Stefani & More Will Appear on ‘Sesame StreetSeason 46.

In the minute-long trailer, Sesame Street fans watch their favorite cartoon characters Ernie, Burt, Abby Cadabby, Elmo, Count Von Count, Oscar The Grouch, Cookie Monster, Big Bird and more play along with celebrities in the HBO teaser. “On January 16, an all-new season of Sesame Street brought to you by the letters H-B-O,” the trailer’s text reads. The new season will feature both new and classic episodes at its new home. On Aug, 13, Sesame Street inked a five-season deal with the cable network which allows the iconic kids’ franchise to deliver nearly twice as much new content per season. PBS will air the new episodes nine months after they first run on HBO.
